15 MW BOREAS I ENEZ WIND POWER PLANT

Boreas I Enez WPP, which is being implemented by Boreas Energy Inc., is located in a place 7 km away from the downtown of County Enez within the borders of Province Edirne. In line with measurements that have been performed since the year 2000 at the project site, conformity of the region with windpower plant investment has been established and required works have been commenced so that BOREAS I Enez Windpower Plant is put into practice. Total installed power of Boreas I Enez Wind Power Plant is 15 MW and it consists of 6 each NORDEX N90/2500 HS type units, each of which has a power of 2.5 MW. The plant was put into use as of first quarter, 2010 and will also decrease greenhouse gas emission quantity on the grounds that it is an environment friendly technology.
